Introduction
UPayments has signed a strategic partnership with Stash in order to integrate UStore with Stash. This integration will provide several benefits to merchants using both systems with a seamless fulfillment process, sync Products data from Stash Storage, and update Order details from UStore to Stash automatically.
Overview
Stash is an online Warehousing portal for Storage, Fulfillment, and Distribution. You can store products, request for restocking and removals any time and always keep track of your inventory and sales.
Integration Impact
Merchants can sync Product data one by one from your UStore to your stash inventory.
This means a seamless experience whereby stock is automatically linked,
As soon as a customer orders a product on your UStore which is synced to a Stash inventory, the order details are automatically sent to the Stash portal for fulfillment.
The following are the changes and interactions between both systems after activating the integration:
UStore Impact
UStore Orders
Orders placed on UStore will reflect in Stash Portal for Stash synced products
Stash Inbound order will increment/increase the respective product Stock
Stash Outbound order will decrement/decrease the respective product Stock
Paid UPay invoices for products synced with Stash will reflect on Stash portal. If products and delivery address is not added to the invoice, the invoice will not be synced on to Stash Portal
UStore Products
Products will be synchronized from UStore to Stash for newly added products
A new button [Sync with Stash] will be added to synchronize product info with Stash
- Product stock will be updated from stash portal
- Product and variation quantities will no longer be editable from UStore’s Product/Variation Edit Page
‘Sync with Stash’ button can be used to sync product info with Stash.
Important Note: Syncing products must be done one by one. This ensures all fields within each UStore Product is synced with Stash and no data is lost in the process of syncing.
Important Note: - Editing an existing Product Option will create a new variant in UPay and Stash. It is highly recommended for users to take care of this while editing existing Option Names. Moreover, if any change is made, the merchant has to inform Stash team - Branches are currently not being handled in the integration. Product Stock will be handled as a single location unit
Stash Impact
Once integrated, all orders can be viewed on the stash portal and shows the order status
Orders will come in directly from the upay platform will all the customer details and order lines
Vendors can also view their live inventory on the stash portal, along with and upcoming replenishments of stock , QC fail/ damaged stock etc.
Integration Setup
In order to activate the UStore | Stash Integration, please follow the following steps:
Option 1: Delivery & Shipping Settings
Login to your UStore account at: https://upay.upayments.com/
- Login to your Stash account at: https://trystash.app/
- At your UStore Merchant Dashboard, navigate to:
Store -> Delivery & Shipping - At the [Delivery & Shipping] Tap, select [Stash]
- Enter your Stash Token here. To sign up on Stash and get your Stash token, contact [email protected] or [email protected]
- Copy [Your UPay Account Token] and paste it into Stash’s portal (https://www.trystash.app/clientportal/)
- Click “Enter website”
- Paste [Your UPay Account Token] here.

Option 2: Apps Settings
At your UStore Merchant Dashboard, navigate to: Store -> Apps
- Select Stash app option from the Storage & Warehouse Management option

- Enter your Stash Account Token (Process will be guided by the stash team point 2&3)
- Copy your UPay Token and paste the token in your Stash portal.( Will be personally guided by a member of the Stash team)
FAQs
What products can be stored in Stash?
Stash Storage allows merchants to store all kinds of products except for Fresh food and chemical related products. Products like Clothing, Food, Water, Pet Food, Processed Food are usually stored in Stash warehouses.
On which portal can the products be added first?
The two way integration allows products to be synced from UPay to Stash and from Stash to UPay. It would be preferable to update Products on UPay, sync with Stash after which the stock can be handled from Stash as stock related fields will be uneditable from UPay
What happens to the Daily Quantity field if we integrate with Stash?
Daily quantity will not work for Trystash synced products. The option will be disabled
Will updates to my existing Products and variants on UPay be synced to Stash?
Updating existing products and variations will be auto synced to Stash on clicking the “Submit” button in UPay Products edit page. From the Stash portal only fields related to quantity and stock are updated to UPay. Click the “Sync with Trystash” button at any point of time to ensure your products are synced with Stash
How do we mark products as out of stock?
Out of Stock values for Stash products will be updated from Stash when the product quantity hits 0.
How can I handle product stock for multiple Branches?
Branches are currently not being handled in the integration. Product Stock will be handles as a single unit
Important Note: SKU should be unique to avoid any issues. In case of duplicate SKUs for products or variations, they will be synced to Stash product with the same SKU
